ST. CATHARINES, ONT. – The Ridgebacks lacrosse team are taking home a silver medal after appearing their first OUA Lacrosse Championship finals in program history.

In the 15-4 loss to the Queen's Gaels, the Ridgebacks got three goals from Jailyn Joensen and a goal from Isabella Koppens.

The silver medal is the highest finish for the Ridgebacks lacrosse team yet, beating the previous high of fourth place set in 2014 and 2019 and their overall record of 9-4 is the best in program history, beating the previous high of eight wins set in 2019.

Kendra Orr was named as an OUA All-Star for the second year in a row at the tournament's conclusion.
