A familiar face is coming home to the Ridgebacks, as Ontario Tech men's basketball alumnus AJ Cummings returns to the program as a graduate transfer ahead of the upcoming season.

The Regent Theatre hosted Ontario Tech's 19th annual athletic awards gala on Thursday night, recognizing Ridgebacks student-athletes for their outstanding achievements over the past season.

Ontario Tech University is set to expand its varsity athletics offerings, as the Ridgebacks prepare to introduce men's and women's volleyball to their Ontario University Athletics (OUA) lineup beginning in the 2027–2028 season.
