Update on Upcoming Elections
Dear Members and Candidates,
We hope your winter semester is off to a great start. We would like to inform you about some changes to the upcoming elections.
The Board of Directors and the Elections Committee have decided to postpone this year’s elections and hold the general and society elections separately. This decision was made due to governance and policy concerns. We understand that this adjustment may cause inconvenience. However, it is necessary to ensure the fairness, smooth functioning, and integrity of the elections.
The updated elections dates are:
- February 24 to March 2: Nomination period
- March 4: Mandatory All-candidates meeting
- March 5 to 11: Campaign period
- March 10: Candidates debate and forum
- March 12 to 14: Voting period
- March 17: Results announced
