OTSyou Day: A Celebration of Everything You’ve Accomplished
After a year of early mornings, late nights, deadlines, setbacks, and of course growth and a few Ws, there’s one thing that deserves your attention before the semester ends: YOU! That’s exactly what OTSyou Day is all about.
Happening on Tuesday, April 7 from 4:00PM–8:00PM in the CRWC gym, this end-of-year celebration is designed to recognize everything Ontario Tech students have achieved—doesn’t matter how “big” or “small,” just the fact that you accomplished it is a win in our books!
A Space to Celebrate, Unwind, and Connect
Finals are approaching, and maybe this is your last year at Ontario Tech, so we want to send everyone off on a high note and the chance to come together to connect as a campus to celebrate all that we’ve accomplished. We’re transforming the gym into a jam-packed celebration space where you can take a break from the stress of the semester and enjoy the moment.
This is your chance to pause, reflect, and celebrate your journey and appreciate all you’ve worked for.
What You Can Expect
From interactive experiences to great food and entertainment, there’s something for everyone:
- 🎧 Live DJ
- 📸 360 video booth + selfie mirror
- 🎈 Balloon artist
- 🧋 A full spread of treats including bubble tea, bubble waffles, a nacho bar, and a candy bar
- 🎮 Esports Alley featuring games like Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros.
- 🏆 EA FC 26 Challenge — test your skills against one of Canada’s top FIFA players for great prizes
- 🎁 Giveaways, prizes, and the brand new OTSU claw machine
Spotlighting Student Success
One of the highlights of the event is the Student Spotlight Wall, where we’ll feature real stories and achievements from students across campus, and give space for everyone to include their own achievements they’re proud of.
Success doesn’t look the same for everyone, and every step forward deserves to be recognized, so feel free to add your own story to the board.
Your Moment to Celebrate
Whether you’re celebrating academic wins, new friendships, personal growth, or simply making it through the year, OTSyou Day is your moment to take it all in.
University moves fast, and it’s easy to jump straight to what’s next. This event is your reminder to pause and appreciate how far you’ve come.
This is your chance to unwind before finals, make great memories and new friends, and bask in the moment. You’ve earned it!
