Learn about self-care resources on campus at the health plan fair!
Are you ready to connect with a variety of great health care providers and campus resources, all in one place?
Come to the OTSU Health Plan Fair on Thursday, November 27, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the BIT Atrium, where you can connect with on-campus and community network providers, learn more about the services provided by the OTSU, and develop the confidence to use your plan and make the most of your coverage!
ON-CAMPUS DEPARTMENTS
- Mental Health Services’ Peer Mentors
- Athletics & Recreation
- Campus Health & Wellness Centre
This year, we’re bringing in new dental, vision, and paramedical community network providers to increase student awareness of the services covered by their plans and to highlight providers who offer additional savings beyond the insurance coverage.
COMMUNITY NETWORK PROVIDERS
Smile View Dental
Located directly across the street from the North Campus at 2069 Simcoe Street, Smile View Dental is one of our preferred providers. Students can receive additional savings on dental checkups, X-rays, and cleanings.
IRIS Visual Group
One of our preferred network providers, IRIS Vision provides students with additional savings for optometry and eyewear. Students who are enrolled in mystudentplan are also eligible for the IRIS Advantage savings program on products including eyeglasses, prescription sunglasses, non-prescription sunglasses, and contact lenses available at any IRIS location across Canada. Visit their website for more information.
Advanced Physiotherapy and Wellness Centre (Oshawa)
Wide range of services such as physiotherapy, chiropractic therapy, massage therapy, and orthotics. Every one of their services is covered by your health plan. Their highly trained and skilled team identifies the source of the problem to rectify it rather than just treating the symptoms.
To find more information about our network providers and savings, visit the select savings webpage of your health plan at mystudentplan.ca/ontario-tech/en/savings. Use the member search tool to find a network provider near you!
Meet your Health Plan Coordinator, Tina, at the event, and stay connected with her in the office year-round. You can find her in SHA 023, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Can’t wait to see you all there!
