Experience the World at Pangaea: A Cultural Celebration Like Never Before!
It’s that time of year again! Pangaea, our biggest cultural event of the year, is back! But this time, we’re shaking things up and bringing you Pangaea: Cultural Pop Up!
On April 1 and 2, the UA and UB lobbies will transform into a vibrant hub of cultural celebration, featuring pop-up performances that showcase the beautiful diversity of our student body. From traditional dances to live music, join us in celebrating the diversity and beauty of cultures from around the world, right here on campus!
And what’s a cultural celebration without food? Get ready to enjoy a variety of flavours that pair perfectly with the vibe of the hour, bringing you a true taste of different traditions.
Think you’ve got what it takes to put on a show? Student performances are still a huge part of Pangaea, and we want YOU to share yours! Whether it’s singing, dancing, spoken word, or something else entirely, now’s your chance to shine. Sign up to perform, or just come by and support your fellow students as they share their talents.
If you’re interested in performing, the student showcase is on Wednesday April 2, 2025 in UB Atrium from 2–3:00 p.m. There are only nine slots for the hour, so sign up quickly if you want one! Registration will close on Monday March 24 at 4:00 p.m. EST or, until all spots are filled.

And did we mention prizes? That’s right, we’ve got some exciting giveaways lined up for attendees. At the end of each pop-up, we'll be raffling off amazing door prizes for those in attendance. We've also got a special grand prize (that we're keeping secret until the event) you definitely don't want to miss out on! So be sure to stay tuned to our Instagram in the coming days for more details!
Pangaea is all about celebrating the richness of cultures, traditions, and flavours that make up our incredible student community. Pangaea is our opportunity to teach and to gain a better understanding of one another's cultures through the languages, stories, and traditions we grew up with. Mark your calendars, bring your friends, and get ready to experience a global festival right on campus!
