Orientation has arrived! Please ensure you arrive on time to check-in, get your free Ontario Tech Faculty T-shirt and swag bag, a snack and meet your senior leaders and orientation leaders. If you arrive early enough, they can teach you your Faculty chant! *Check-in confirmation must be shown to get your swag

Join us as we officially kick off the start of Orientation weekend with some fantastic performances, the faculty chant competition, and a chance to meet the President and Provost. All of your new friends will be wearing their Faculty t-shirts so be sure to get here on time.

Get a head start on creating your faculty chant or spell. This is also a great chance for you to meet upper year students and senior leaders.

Join the OTSU for a variety of fun games! Enjoy board games, lawn games, and gaming consoles — who’s up for a friendly Mario Kart competition? Also, check out our Esports Arena on campus. Whether you’re an avid gamer or just curious, come see what we have to offer.

Join the Department of Athletics for a Wellness Walks! This adventure is a great way to boost your physical and mental health during your busy orientation schedule and throughout the school year. Uplift your mood, reduce stress, and connect with your campus community. Meet out the front doors of the Campus Recreation and Wellness Centre (CRWC) to join.

Join us in Gym 3,4 and 5 for some friendly games including badminton, pickleball, axe throwing, bean bag toss, ping pong and more. Don’t miss your chance to win the 3-Point Basketball Contest too!

Join us for a delicious dinner at Hunter’s Kitchen! All students are invited to enjoy a complimentary meal at Hunter’s Kitchen, located in the UB building. It’s the perfect chance to unwind, mingle with fellow students, and enjoy a tasty meal.

Be mesmerized at our Hypnotist Show! Watch as a talented hypnotist performs mind-bending tricks and engages the audience in unforgettable experiences. You won't want to miss this captivating event!

What’s a better way to start a dance party than with a Drag Show from seven queens and one king? The event kicks off with the VS. Ultimate Lip Sync Showdown, featuring drag artists in high-energy lip sync battles. Members can team up with eliminated contestants, get drag makeovers, and compete for the title of OTU Lip Sync Assassin!

Following the Drag Show, students can join a dance party in the middle of the Ontario Tech campus with DJ Frisco!
