While Ontario Tech University celebrates its 20th anniversary during this academic year, the Ridgebacks men’s soccer team is enjoying extended time in the national spotlight.
The U SPORTS Canadian rankings as of October 10 place the Ridgebacks men’s soccer program at No. 7 in the country (second in the Ontario University Athletics East Division) with a record of seven wins, three draws and one loss in 11 regular season games.
Hopes are high for a deep playoff run this fall. One regular-season game remains before the playoffs: a much-anticipated home match against the Carleton Ravens (currently ranked No. 4 nationally) on Sunday, October 22 (3:15 p.m. at Vaso’s Field).
