
Fresh off its rise to the No. 1 spot for reputation in the 2025 Canadian University Rankings by Maclean’s magazine, Ontario Tech has once again surpassed 13,000 applications for the second consecutive year—cementing its reputation as a top choice for future-ready students.
According to the latest data from the Ontario Universities’ Application Centre, applications to Ontario Tech have increased 27 per cent since January 2022 and an impressive 69.4 per cent since January 2021, growing from 7,734 to more than 13,000.
