Cardy joins the women's soccer 2025 recruiting class
OSHAWA, Ont. – The Ontario Tech women's soccer program is excited to announce the signing of goalkeeper Jacqueline Cardy, who will join the recruiting class for the 2025-26 season.
"We're thrilled to officially welcome Jacqueline Cardy to the Pack. Cardy brings a commanding presence in goal, is a great communicator, and confident with her feet. We believe Cardy has the potential to make an immediate impact, and we are excited to watch her grow and thrive both on and off the field."
The London, Ont. native spent time playing for the MLS club Vancouver Whitecaps affiliate academy team called Whitecaps London. Cardy was outstanding for the club, where she was a 2023 West Division Champion, and she also led the league in clean sheets with 10 on the season. She left the Whitecaps as a team captain.
The five-foot-three goalie most recently played for the League1 U20 side Railway City FC. When she arrives on campus this fall, she will enroll in Biological Science – Biomed Specialization.
