Ridgebacks fall short of come back against Nipissing
OSHAWA, Ont – The Ontario Tech women's soccer team fell short of a come back in their second game of the season, losing 4-3 to the Nipissing Lakers at Vaso's Field.
Nipissing's Jessica Emmerton opened the game with a goal in the eighth minute. The Lakers later increased their lead 2-0 30 minutes into the game with a goal from Rylee Traicoff.
The Ridgebacks started the second half strong, with Sara Wylie (Mississauga, Ont.) putting Ontario Tech on the board with a goal in the 48th minute, but the Lakers' Bella Norte quickly responded with a goal of her own.
