Spring/Summer 2022
May 4 – Announced as part of the CHAMP (Celebrating and Honouring Achievements in Marketing and Promotions) awards, Ontario Tech was recognized with a pair of awards. Shaun McLeod, voice of the Ridgebacks on OUA TV, was named the Best Webcast Announcer. Ontario Tech's athletic department was also the recipient of Best G3 Championship for the OUA women's field lacrosse championship in October.
 
May 5 – After a two-year absence due to the pandemic, the Ridgebacks Dance Showcase returns to the Regent Theatre.
 
May 16 – Ontario Tech women's field lacrosse alumna Dale Wilson is selected as an official for the 2022 World Lacrosse U-21 Men's Lacrosse World Championship.

June 3 – Robert Powers named the first full-time assistant coach for men's hockey.
 
June 7 – Kassidy Nauboris returns to Ontario Tech women's hockey as the first full-time assistant coach.
 
June 13 – Zack Wilson welcomed as first full-time assistant coach for the women's soccer program.
 
June 16 – Ontario Tech's women's basketball team announces Ray Montaniel as the program's first full-time assistant coach.
 
July 13 – Ontario Tech men's soccer midfielder Danial Rafisamii signs with VfR Baumholder of the Landesliga in Germany.
 
July 17 – Ontario Tech Ridgebacks women's soccer alumna Nicole Zajac is continuing her professional career with GKS Katowice, members of Poland's top professional women's soccer league, Ekstraliga.
 
July 28 – Ontario Tech men's soccer alumnus Fadi Salback signs with Hapoel Migdal Haemeq of Liga Alef in Israel.
 
August 2 – Sara Esongola of the women's basketball team helps build basketball court in the Congo.
 
August 10 – Former Ontario Tech men's hockey forward Jake Bricknell signs with Manchester Storm of the Elite Ice Hockey League (EIHL).
 
August 15 – Ontario Tech announces Kasy Kiarash has been named the first full-time men's soccer assistant coach in program history.
 
August 29 – Women's lacrosse assistant coach Rachael McKinnon had a golden summer, coaching a pair of teams to national championships. This started with winning gold at the Niagara 2022 Canada Summer Games with Team Ontario in box lacrosse as an assistant coach. Ontario picked up a 2-1 win over B.C. to capture the first female box lacrosse medal in Canada Games history.
