NORTH YORK, Ont. – The Ridgebacks continued the season opening road trip on Sunday afternoon with an 81-43 loss to the York Lions.

A pair of first-year talents took the helm of the Ridgebacks attack this game, with Kaleah Gosse leading the Ridgebacks in points with 13 points, three steals and two assists. Ayat Weber also helped buoy the Ridgebacks and finished two rebounds shy of a double-double with 10 points and eight rebounds.

The Ridgebacks will make their home debut next weekend with a pair of back-to-back games. On November 1, they'll match up with the Western Mustangs at 6 p.m. and on November 2 they'll take on the Windsor Lancers at the Campus Recreation and Wellness Centre.
