Women's basketball add Walker to 2025-26 recruiting class
OSHAWA, Ont. – The Ontario Tech women's basketball program is happy to announce the addition of Daneika Walker to the 2025-26 recruiting class.
"We're excited to welcome Daneika to the program," said head coach Hugo Boisvert. "She comes to us with two years of experience at Centennial College. Daneika stands out with her impact on both ends of the floor—especially her defensive anticipation and rebounding ability from the guard position. She is a driven student-athlete whose work ethic aligns with the high standards that we will foster here".
The Toronto Ont. Guard spent the last two years with the Centennial Colts after three standout years with the SBA Blues, Bond Phase1 Academy, and Humberside C.I Varsity. While at Centennial College, she averaged nine points a game, and was awarded as "most improved player" during her 2024-25 season.
When Daneika arrives on campus this fall, she will enroll in the Kinesiology program.
