Ridgebacks close out season in Kingston
KINGSTON, Ont. – The Ontario Tech women's basketball team wrapped up its 2025–26 campaign on Friday, February 13 with an 80–37 road contest against the Queen's Gaels.
The Ridgebacks were within striking distance after the opening quarter, trailing 15–11, but Queen's broke the game open in the second. The Gaels poured in 32 points in the frame to build a 47–15 halftime lead and maintained control the rest of the way.
Adra Barnet led Ontario Tech with eight points and added two steals. Quincy Okubasu contributed six points and three rebounds, while Elliot Cowan pulled down a team-high eight rebounds to go along with five points. Zoey-Anna Hemeon and Amarachi Achioso each chipped in five points off the bench as the Ridgebacks looked to generate momentum throughout the lineup.
Friday's contest concludes the 2025–26 season for the Ridgebacks.
