PETERBOROUGH, Ont. – The Ontario Tech Ridgebacks wrapped up the weekend at the Trent Invitational Bonspiel in Peterborough, competing in three games each on the men's and women's sides.
The men's team opened their draw with a tight 4–3 loss to the Ottawa Gee-Gees before falling 7–3 to the Durham Lords in their second matchup. Ontario Tech closed out the weekend against the Algoma Thunderbirds, conceding a 3–1 result.
On the women's side, the Ridgebacks started strong with a dominant 12–4 win over Ottawa, followed by a 10–1 victory against the Humber Hawks. Their bid for a perfect weekend came up just short with a narrow 6–5 loss to the York Lions in their final game.
