WINDSOR, Ont. - Over a sunny yet windy weekend in Windsor, the Toronto Varsity Blues and host Windsor Lancers captured the 2024 OUA golf championship titles at the Ambassador Golf Club in Windsor.
 
The Varsity Blues women returned to the top of the podium after a year's hiatus with a combined for a total 471 points to take home the team gold, while the host Lancers put together a total score of 579 to capture the men's title for the first time since 1994.

The Guelph Gryphon women's team had an impressive weekend in the Rose City, also shooting a combined 471 to bring home the silver medal. A tiebreaker between the Blues and Gryphons was used to determine the overall gold and silver.
 
The Laurier Golden Hawks claimed the women's overall bronze with a score of 481.
 
After shooting six over par on day one, Toronto's Anna Foley had a tremendous second day shooting an even par to claim the Judy McCrae Cup as the women's individual golf champion.
 
Guelph's Jacqueline Giles claimed the individual silver with a score of 149, while there was a three-way tie for bronze between Brock's Casey Kenney, Laurier's Kiriti Godkin, and Kira Turner from Western.
 
Toronto's Chris Tortorice was named the OUA women's gold coach of the year.
 
On the men's side, Windsor's Adam Wagner was named the men's coach of the year following the blue and gold's team title.
 
The Len Shore trophy for the OUA men's golf individual champion was awarded to Daniel Abraha of Queen's. Abraha held the top spot on the leaderboard all weekend, shooting a four under par on day one, and an even par on day two.
 
Windsor's Jarrod Smith & Alek Mauro tied for the individual silver medals with McMaster's Kavith Ranchagoda with a two day total of 143, finishing one shot over par.
 
In the team standings, the 2023 champion Laurier Golden Hawks placed second overall, while the Queen's Gaels claimed the overall bronze medal.
