Men's curling head to Guelph for OUA Championship

The Ontario Tech men's curling team is heading to Guelph, Ont. for the OUA Men's Curling Championship this weekend.

OSHAWA, Ont. – The Ontario Tech men's curling team is heading to Guelph, Ont. for the OUA Men's Curling Championship this weekend.

The men's curling team is coming off of a two win weekend at the Brock Invitational where they took down the Trent Excalicur in a close 7-6 match, and also beat the Algoma Thunderbirds 6-3.

This year the men's team is comprised of Ontario Tech athlete of the week, Ryan Hastings, former Ridgeback men's curling rookie of the year, Zachary Bowles, Alexander Bellman, Tom Keys-Brasier and Clayton More.

Their weekend starts with a match up with the TMU Bold at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, followed by a match with Trent on at 7:30 p.m. On Saturday they'll take on the tournament host Guelph Gryphons at 12:30 p.m. and finish by taking on Queen's at 7:30 p.m.
