Ridgebacks curling wraps up season at OUA Championships
WELLAND, Ont. – The Ontario Tech curling teams wrapped up competition at the OUA Curling Championships this past weekend, hosted by the Brock Badgers at the Welland Curling Club.
On the men's side, the Ridgebacks opened play with a 9–7 loss to York before falling 9–2 against Laurentian. Ontario Tech battled closely with Windsor but came up short in a 9–7 decision, and the weekend concluded with a 9–0 concession to Carleton.
The women's team faced a tough draw to begin the championship, conceding a 7–2 result to Trent and a 9–4 decision to Carleton. Play continued with a 10–2 concession against McMaster and ended with York forfeiting the final match of the tournament due to extenuating circumstances.
This concludes the 2025/26 season for Ontario Tech curling.
