Ontario Tech curling teams wrap up weekend in St. Catharines

The Ontario Tech curling teams wrapped up competition at the Brock Invitational this weekend, using the event as a final tune-up ahead of the OUA Championships.

ST. CATHARINES, Ont. – The Ontario Tech curling teams wrapped up competition at the Brock Invitational this weekend, using the event as a final tune-up ahead of the OUA Championships.

On the men's side, the Ridgebacks opened the invitational with a 6–3 win over Algoma before conceding a 10–4 decision to Waterloo and an 8–2 result to Queen's. Ontario Tech closed out the weekend with a tightly contested 6–5 loss to Ottawa.

The women's team faced a challenging slate throughout the weekend, conceding a 7–1 result to Algoma, a 9–1 decision to Waterloo, an 8–2 loss to Queen's, and a 9–1 result against Ottawa.

With the Brock Invitational complete, both Ridgebacks teams will now turn their attention to the OUA Championships, scheduled for February 6–8 and hosted by Brock University.
