Western's Matteo Zagar led his team with 21 points, 12 rebounds, and five steals. Lucas Sheets added 15 points, including three three-pointers, before fouling out. Western's strong defensive showing, with 16 steals and a shooting percentage of 55.2, helped secure their victory.

The Ridgebacks move to 2-1 on the season with the loss, and will look to bounce back quickly tomorrow afternoon when they take on the visiting Windsor Lancers.
