KINGSTON, Ont. – Ontario Tech Ridgebacks toppled the RMC Paladins 7-3 in a high-scoring affair on Saturday, fueled by a five-goal second period that proved insurmountable.

Cullen McLean netted the go ahead goal early in the second frame, while Ludovic Dufort and Gabriel Bernier contributed power-play tallies. Andrew Suriyuth's short-handed goal highlighted Ontario Tech's dominance on special teams. Goalie Beckett Langkow stood firm with 28 saves.

RMC struck first with Joachim Matulu's even-strength goal, followed by Devin Leduc's power-play marker late in the first period, but Ontario Tech's relentless second-period surge flipped the game's momentum. Mathieu Hébert added a consolation goal in the third for RMC.

The Ridgebacks will now head out on a two game road trip to Waterloo, Ont. for games against the Laurier Golden Hawks and Waterloo Warriors before returning home to take on the York Lions on January 30.
