TORONTO, Ont. — The Ontario Tech Ridgebacks fell to the TMU Bold 4-1 on the road on Saturday night in OUA action.

Payton Kerr led the charge for TMU with two goals, including an empty-netter to seal the game in the final minute. Ava Caputo and Dayle Chinnick also found the back of the net for TMU, with Caputo's power-play tally in the first period proving decisive. Avery Dowson scored the lone goal for Ontario Tech on a power play late in the third.

TMU set the tone early, with Chinnick opening the scoring midway through the first. Caputo doubled the lead minutes later with a power-play marker. The Bold's special teams continued to excel in the second, as Kerr capitalized on a man advantage to make it 3-0.

Ontario Tech goalie Zoe McGee made 34 saves in a losing effort, while TMU's Alexia Stratos stopped 15 shots for the win.

The Ridgebacks will now gear up for a home-and-home series against the Queen's Gaels, starting on January 24 with a stop in Kingston, Ont.
