Hardwick brings extensive resume to Ridgebacks curling
OSHAWA, Ont. – The Ontario Tech curling program is happy to announce the addition of Taylor Hardwick to the 2025-26 recruiting class.
"I am very excited about continuing my education at Ontario Tech University and competing with the women's varsity curling team. I'm looking forward to contributing to the team, building strong connections, and making the most of everything Ontario Tech has to offer both in the classroom and on the ice." Hardwick says, "Joining the Ridgeback family allows me to challenge myself academically while staying deeply involved in the sport I love!"
Hardwick has a plethora of accolades, and to highlight a few, she is a two-time GBSSA Gold Medalist, three-time SCAA Champion, and a U20 Provincial Bronze Medalist.
She started playing curling at five-years-old and has represented the Barrie Curling Club since 2016. Hardwick also was a member of the Tam Heather Tennis & Curling Club for two years. Hardwick has been part of Eastview Secondary School's varsity curling team.
"We are thrilled to welcome Taylor to the Ridgebacks!" said Mike Stauffer. "Adding a player with her experience is a great addition to the team and a valuable asset to the program. Can't wait to get on the ice in the fall."
