Blake-Jackson brings D1 experience to women's soccer
OSHAWA, Ont. – The Ontario Tech women's soccer team is excited to announce the addition of Jazmyn Blake-Jackson to the 2025 recruiting class.
Blake-Jackson is coming off a year spent at Jackson State in the NCAA. Before heading to America, she was a standout athlete at Pickering High School, earning Athlete of the Year in 2023 and 2024, a LOSSA Gold Medalist in the same years, and an OFSSA bronze medalist in 2024. She also excelled academically as an Ontario Scholar and appeared on the honour roll four years in a row.
She also played at the League1 Ontario level with Unionville Milliken SC, where she logged 11 matches in 2023 as a part of their women's U19 roster and was selected for the U16 Ontario Soccer Provincial Screening. She has continued representing Unionville Milliken SC this season as a member of their League1 Championship roster.
"We're excited to add Jazmyn to our roster this fall. She brings a great mindset, eager to learn and team-focused," said Ridgebacks Head Coach, Audra Sherman. "Her calmness on the ball, positional versatility, and strong physical attributes will contribute to the competitive environment we built here. With her NCAA experience, she's ready to step in and make an immediate impact both on and off the field."
