In celebration of National Volunteer Week, Sunday, April 14 through Saturday, April 20, Ontario Tech University proudly acknowledges the tremendous impact volunteers have on our community. Embracing this year's theme, Every Moment Matters, the university recognizes the important role volunteers hold in every corner of our university, offering their time and expertise and actively contributing to Ontario Tech’s success.

At the university, volunteers include students, faculty, staff, alumni, donors, partners, friends and members of the Board of Governors. Each individual and group brings a unique contribution, enhancing the vibrancy of our university community and helping shape a brighter future.

“Whether they are lending a hand at a university or alumni event, supporting and cheering on our varsity athletes, offering mentorship, or serving on a committee, volunteers build essential connections and make a meaningful difference,” said James Barnett, Vice-President, Advancement. “On behalf of Ontario Tech University, I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to our incredible community of supporters, whose commitment and generosity uplift both the university and our students.”

Ontario Tech thanks its volunteers for their dedication and kindness and for making a positive impact at the university and beyond.
