International Women’s Day (Friday, March 8) is a time to acknowledge, celebrate and empower women at Ontario Tech University, and to amplify the critical roles allies play in elevating women’s voices and aspirations. It’s also a day to reflect on and commit to the International Women’s Day 2024 theme of 'Inspire Inclusion' and to raise awareness of the progress made towards achieving gender equality, and the work that remains to be done.
Ontario Tech is marking this important day by celebrating the women in our community and organizing programs and events that support, inspire and encourage women.
Inspire Inclusion: Together We Can Make a Difference

Quote:
“International women’s day is an opportunity for us to acknowledge the contributions of the many women across our Ontario Tech community who continue to elevate and contribute to our success both internally, in community and globally. It is equally an opportunity to amplify the critical role allies play in creating space for women, ensuring visibility to their contributions and or to support in nurturing an inclusive community at Ontario Tech where women feel a sense of inclusion and belonging.”
