OSHAWA, Ont. – The Ontario Tech Ridgebacks fell 2-1 to the Trent Excalibur on Thursday night at Vaso's Field.
Midfielder Emma Dang opened the scoring for Ontario Tech in the 26th minute to give the Ridgebacks a 1-0 lead at halftime.
Trent answered back in the second half as Jordyn Sammut tied the match in the 66th minute, before Tianna Wilson netted the game-winner in stoppage time, assisted by Emma Da Silva. The Ridgebacks will head out to Peterborough, Ont. for a rematch with the Trent Excalibur on Saturday, September 6 at 1 p.m.
