Women's soccer add Brown to 2025 recruiting class
OSHAWA, Ont. – The Ontario Tech women's soccer program are thrilled to announce the addition of Mya Brown to the women's soccer recruiting class for the upcoming season.
"Mya is an attacking minded player with the ability to take on players and stretch the oppositions backline," said Audra Sherman. "She is a talented player who will bring versatility to how we create and attack in the final third."
A native of Welland, Ont., Brown brings a wealth of experience and skill to the Ridgebacks. The five-foot-four forward honed her talents at Notre Dame College High School and through an impressive club career. Most recently, she competed in the Club Roma League 1 Reserve U20 program (2024-2025) and represented Canada internationally at the prestigious Torneo della Pace Women in Italy in 2024.
Brown's journey includes stints with high-performance teams such as Club Roma U18 and U17 NRSP programs and over a decade with the Welland Wizards. Her dedication and versatility make her a dynamic addition to Ontario Tech's lineup.
