TORONTO, Ont. – The Ontario Tech women's basketball team dropped a 63–34 decision to the TMU Bold on Saturday, January 31, at the Mattamy Athletic Centre.
Toronto Metropolitan set the tone early, opening a double-digit cushion in the first quarter and taking a 32–16 lead into halftime. Ontario Tech found a rhythm after the break, but the Bold maintained control down the stretch to secure the home win.
Adra Barnet led the Ridgebacks with seven points, while Zoey-Anna Hemeon added five points off the bench. Ontario Tech battled on the glass with 37 rebounds, but TMU capitalized on turnovers to create separation.
Ontario Tech returns home for its next contest, hosting the Laurentian Voyageurs on Friday, February 6, at 6 p.m.
