Lacrosse closes out regular season on the road
WATERLOO, Ont. – The Ridgebacks lacrosse program closed out their regular season in Waterloo on Saturday afternoon, and now have their eyes set on the upcoming OUA Lacrosse Championship next weekend.
Ontario Tech fell to the host Laurier Golden Hawks 21-5 in the first game of the day. The Ridgebacks had four goals come from Kendra Orr (Brooklin, Ont.) and one from Rachel Kuchera (Oshawa, Ont.).
Orr continued her hot streak in the second game of the day, picking up four goals in a 16-7 loss to McMaster. Catherine Vinkovic (Oshawa, Ont.) picked up two, and Kuchera picked up another to add to her tally on the weekend.
With the regular season in the books, the lacrosse program will now have a week to prepare for the OUA Lacrosse Championship taking place next weekend in Kingston.
