Ridgebacks look to climb standings heading into final round of OUA golf championship

The Ontario Tech men's golf team are sitting in 14th after the opening round of the OUA golf championship hosted by the University of Ottawa at Hylands Golf Club.

The Ontario Tech men's golf team are sitting in 14th after the opening round of the OUA golf championship hosted by the University of Ottawa at Hylands Golf Club.
 
They finished with an opening round 321, just 13 strokes out of medal contention.
 
The low Ridgeback on the day was Brendan Smith with an opening round 77. Justin Posteraro and Noah McMullin each finished with rounds of 80.
 
To round out the Ontario Tech scoring, Nathan Fraser finished with an 84 and Sanjiv Kalutantiri with an 85.
 
Round 2 opens on Sunday for the Ridgebacks at 9 a.m. with Kalutantiri's tee time. Smith is the last Ontario Tech player to tee off at 9:36 a.m.
