OSHAWA, Ont. – The Ontario Tech men's soccer team battled hard in a physical contest at Vaso's Field but ultimately fell 3-1 to the Carleton Ravens.

The Ravens opened the scoring in the 21st minute with a goal by John Aldiban. Ontario Tech responded after halftime when Trivine Esprit buried his first of the season in the 58th minute on a setup from Alex Maadanian.

Momentum shifted back to Carleton just minutes later as Darren Bouaziz restored the Ravens' lead in the 62nd minute, followed by a late insurance marker from Adrijan Vranjkovic in the 85th.

The match was defined by its intensity, with the referee handing out eight yellow cards — six to Ontario Tech and two to Carleton.
