Ontario Tech men’s basketball signs guard Lenny Manset

The Ontario Tech men's basketball team is excited to announce the addition of guard Lenny Manset to the 2026-27 recruiting class.

OSHAWA, Ont. The Ontario Tech men's basketball team is excited to announce the addition of guard Lenny Manset to the 2026-27 recruiting class.

The six-foot-three guard from Montreal, Que, joins the Ridgebacks after two seasons with Vanier College in the RSEQ, where he developed into a versatile two-way player capable of impacting the game on both ends of the floor.

"What stood out about Lenny right away was his motor and his willingness to compete," said Ridgebacks head coach Deluxshan Pathmanathan. "He's a rookie with a lot of upside, and our staff is excited to help him continue developing into the type of two-way player who can make an impact in the OUA."

During the 2025–26 season with Vanier, Manset averaged 5.5 points, 2.8 rebounds and 1.5 steals, helping the team finish second in the RSEQ regular season with a 14–2 record. His defensive activity and energy around the floor also earned him a spot on the RSEQ All-Academic Team.

As a first-year player in 2024–25, Manset made an immediate impact in the lineup, starting 14 games and averaging nine points and 4.5 rebounds per game.

Manset played his high school basketball at Lucien-Page High School in Montreal and also competed with the Hoopville youth program. Off the court, he plans to study Computer Science at Ontario Tech.
