Ridgebacks fall to Warriors in tight clash

The Ontario Tech men's basketball team fell to the Waterloo Warriors 68-64 in a close match up on Saturday at the PAC.

WATERLOO, Ont. –  The Ontario Tech men's basketball team fell to the Waterloo Warriors 68-64 in a close match up on Saturday at the PAC.

Zubair Seyed stood out for Ontario Tech, leading the team with 28 points, including 10 baskets and 6 free throws.

Emmanuel Okonkwo contributed significantly on defense, recording 5 steals and adding 11 points with 9 rebounds.

Caleb Kassa also made an impact defensively with 2 steals and 1 block, despite not scoring. Jesse Okeke added strength under the basket with 2 blocks and 3 rebounds. These players provided key contributions across various statistical categories for the team.

The Ridgebacks return home to the Campus Recreation and Wellness Centre next weekend for match ups with the Lakehead Thunderwolves and Toronto Varsity Blues on November 22 and 23 at 8 p.m.
