He received his PhD with the Governor General's Gold Medal for Academic Excellence from the University of Victoria, BC, Canada. His research interests are broadly at the intersection of cyber security, internet of things, mobile applications, and machine learning. Dr. El Miligi also supervised several projects that utilize mobile applications and IoT devices to create smart home/smart farm applications. Dr. El Miligi has over 50 Scopus-indexed publications. He served as a technical program committee member, track chair and publication chair for a number of international conferences. He is also a reviewer for several international journals and is currently a guest editor for a special Issue of Sensors Journal on \"Security and Privacy in Mobile Sensing Applications\".\n\n"} Dr. El Miligi is a licensed P.
