OSHAWA, Ont. – The Ontario Tech Ridgebacks women's soccer team played to a 1-1 draw with the RMC Paladins on Saturday afternoon at Vasos Field.
Mary Nicolaou opened the scoring late in the first half, finding the back of the net in the 41st minute off an assist from Nikita Mohan. Ontario Tech carried the 1-0 lead into halftime after outshooting RMC 5-2 in the opening frame.
The Paladins equalized in the final moments of regulation, with Bellarosa Ternes scoring in the 90th minute to deny the Ridgebacks all three points.
The Ridgebacks will get a quick rest before heading out to Downsview Park on Monday, October 6 for a match up with the TMU Bold.
