OSHAWA, Ont. – The Ridgebacks women's soccer team fought back to earn a 2-2 draw against the Toronto Varsity Blues at Vaso's Field.

The Ridgebacks conceded two first-half goals, with Anne Yeomans and Hannah Chown netting for Toronto, including a penalty kick by Chown in the 38th minute.

The Ridgebacks regrouped in the second half, narrowing the deficit in the 61st minute when Mackenzie Scott (Peterborough, Ont.) found the net. Moments later, Sara Wylie (Mississauga, Ont.) completed the comeback in the 64th minute, leveling the score at 2-2.

Goalkeeper Alicia Chisholm (Woodbridge, Ont.) put in a notable performance for Ontario Tech, recording 7 saves and keeping Toronto at bay in the second half.

The Ridgebacks will wrap up their home schedule tomorrow at Vaso's Field when they take on the Laurentian Voyageurs at 1 p.m.
