Lacrosse gets D1 talent with addition of Toll
OSHAWA, Ont. – The Ontario Tech Ridgebacks are happy to announce the addition of Olivia Toll to the 2024 lacrosse recruiting class.
Toll, a native of Oshawa, Ont. She is returning home after playing for the Louisville Cardinals for three years. During her time with the Cardinals, she appeared in 61 games, with 44 starts with 60 ground balls and 42 caused turnovers.
From 2009 until 2019, Toll was a prominent member of the Lady Blue Knights team, which held a record of 200-1-0 and a ten-year streak as an OWFL champion. Toll was named the team captain in her final year and is one of three women to have won the most games and provincial championships in the OWFL.
She also represented Team Ontario in the 2017 and 2018 National Championships and donned the red and white for Team Canada during the 2019 World Championship, where Canada picked up a silver medal.
"We are pleased to announce the addition of Olivia to our program," said Ridgebacks head coach Liane Chornobay. "Olivia has a wealth of lacrosse experience and success both at the NCAA and international level. We are so excited to see her excel in the orange and blue."
