Ridgebacks net OUA veteran Stolarek
OSHAWA, Ont. – The Ridgeback women's lacrosse program is pleased to announce the addition of veteran OUA goalie Hunter Stolarek to the 2024 recruiting class.
The Bowmanville, Ont. native joins Ontario Tech from Queen's, where she played on the varsity lacrosse team, winning a gold medal in the 2022 season and a silver medal in 2021 and 2023.
"We are pleased to announce the addition of Hunter to our program," says head coach Liane Chornobay. "Hunter has a wealth of goaltending experience and success both at the club and university level. We are excited to see her shine in the orange and blue."
During the 2022-23 and 2023-24 school years, Stolarek won the OUA academic all-star student-athlete award and will be enrolling in Consecutive Education this upcoming fall.
