Ridgebacks grind out road win against McMaster
PETERBOROUGH, Ont. – The Ontario Tech lacrosse team continued its season in Peterborough, Ont. this weekend, picking up a hard-fought victory on the road.
The first game of the weekend saw the Ridgebacks fall 17-4 to the Laurier Golden Hawks, with goals coming from Reese Peacock, Jia Leblanc, Audrey Taylor and Mackenzie Renaud.
The action continued in the second game, where the Ridgebacks dropped a 19-3 decision to the Western Mustangs. Taylor notched two more goals, while Isabella Koppens added one of her own.
Finally, the Ridgebacks earned a 6-5 win over the McMaster Marauders on Sunday. Koppens scored twice, while Taylor, Leblanc, Jankowski and Samantha Blair each added one goal.
The Ridgebacks wrap up the OUA regular season next weekend with road games against the Guelph Gryphons and Brock Badgers.
