Ontario Tech shuts down Brock in 4-1 win
OSHAWA, Ont. – The Ridgebacks women's hockey team delivered a commanding performance Saturday, defeating the Brock Badgers 4-1 at the Campus Ice Centre.
Mackenna Krulicki and Julia Jackson shone, each netting two goals. Krulicki opened the scoring early in the first period, with assists from Robyn Storey, and added a power-play goal late in the second. Jackson's contributions were just as impactful, scoring twice in the middle frame, including the game-winner assisted by Milana Perri and Julianne Davidson.
Goaltender Zoe McGee was stellar in net, stopping 43 of 44 shots to secure the victory. Ontario Tech capitalized on their special teams, going 1-for-7 on the power play while holding Brock scoreless on six opportunities.
The Ridgebacks will finish up the 2024 portion of their schedule with a match up with the York Lions on November 29 before taking their winter break.
