Laurier downs Ridgebacks on the road
WATERLOO, Ont. – The Ontario Tech women's basketball team fell to Laurier Golden Hawks 75-39 on Friday night.
Kaleah Gosse led Ontario Tech with 18 points, shooting 7-for-19 from the field, including two 3-pointers. She also contributed five rebounds and three steals, making her a key player on both offense and defense.
Amarachi Achioso added four points, hitting one basket and two free throws, while also securing two rebounds and one steal.
Elliot Cowan provided defensive support with three rebounds and two steals, while contributing three points, including a 3-pointer.
Ayat Weber chipped in six points, with an efficient 2-for-3 shooting performance and made two free throws, while also collecting three rebounds.
The Ridgebacks will be back in action tomorrow night for the second night of the Waterloo double header when they take on the Waterloo Warriors.
