The Ontario Tech men's soccer team bounced back with a big 5-1 win over the Laurentian Voyageurs on Sunday afternoon.
OSHAWA, Ont. – The Ontario Tech men's soccer team bounced back with a big 5-1 win over the Laurentian Voyageurs on Sunday afternoon.
Erion Metaj quickly struck with a header five minutes into the game, assisted by Anthony Dawoud. Christian Keshishian scored his first of the game five minutes later, followed by a penalty kick in the 23rd minute.
Anthony Dawoud opened the second half with a goal on an assist from Alex Maadanian, and Keshishian wrapped up the five-goal run with another penalty kick in the 61st minute.
Peter Sheberstov started in net for the Ridgebacks, making five saves.
The Ridgebacks men's soccer team will be back at Vaso's Field on Saturday, September 13, at 3:15 p.m. when they host the Carleton Ravens.
