Ontario Tech lands centre back Elliott Nauboris
OSHAWA, Ont. – The Ontario Tech Ridgebacks men's soccer team has added a key piece to its back line with the commitment of Toronto native Elliott Nauboris for the 2026 season.
A centre back out of Malvern Collegiate Institute, Nauboris brings a strong defensive presence along with a proven track record of leadership and success at the youth level.
Nauboris has spent the past decade developing with the Toronto Cherry Beach Red Wolves, where he served as team captain for 10 years and consistently competed at a high level. His resume includes a fourth-place finish at the Canadian National Championships at the U17 level, along with multiple titles in 2025, including the PISL U17 Championship, the Robbie International U17/U18 title, and the Ontario Outdoor Cup. He also captured an Ontario Indoor Cup championship at the U18 level.
Nauboris has also demonstrated an ability to contribute offensively. He led the I-Model qualifying round in 2024 with 17 goals in just six games and delivered key performances in major competitions, including goals in the Ontario Outdoor Cup semifinals and at the Canadian National Championships.
"We are very excited to announce the addition of Elliott to our program," said head coach Ramin Mohammadi. "From the moment we saw him play, it was clear he fits the identity of what we're building – committed, competitive and driven to grow. We look forward to seeing him play this upcoming season."
Nauboris will enroll in the Kinesiology program at Ontario Tech when he arrives this fall.
