Baker earns second OUA Second Team All-Star honour
OSHAWA, Ont. – Ontario Tech guard Keon Baker has earned OUA Second Team All-Star honours for the second time in his career following another standout season with the Ridgebacks.
Baker delivered a dominant campaign, averaging 21 points and 6.2 rebounds per game while serving as the offensive engine for the Ridgebacks throughout the year. This marks Baker's second OUA All-Star nod, after previously being named an OUA Second Team All-Star during the 2023–24 season.
This season, Baker became the first player in program history to reach 1,000 career points as a Ridgeback, adding another milestone to an already impressive career. He also set a new single-game program record with 42 points against the Carleton Ravens, showcasing his scoring ability against one of the nation's premier programs.
"This is a significant achievement, but it's not the finish line," said head coach Deluxshan Pathmanathan. "Keon has continued to elevate his game, and this recognition is another step in what we believe is a much bigger trajectory."
