Ontario Tech hits the road for second weekend of lacrosse
TORONTO, Ont. – The Ontario Tech lacrosse team went out on the road to Toronto for their second weekend of games.
In the day's first game, the Ridgebacks took on the Varsity Blues in a defensive battle, ultimately losing 9-6 to the host team. The Varsity Blues netted three goals in the first, and Ontario Tech finally responded in the second, with Ava Flint and Audrey Taylor finding the back of the net. Isabella Koppens added three goals, while Jia Leblanc contributed one.
Ontario Tech took on the Trent Excalibur in their second game of the day, falling 20-3, with goals coming from Taylor, Koppens, and Olivia Toll.
The lacrosse team will be back on the road next week when they head to Peterborough, Ont., to take on the Laurier Golden Hawks and Western Mustangs on September 20.
