KINGSTON, Ont. – Despite a strong defensive first half, the Ontario Tech Ridgebacks fell 4-0 to the Queen's Gaels on Friday afternoon.
Goalkeeper Jacqueline Cardy was busy early, making six saves in the opening 45 minutes to keep the match scoreless at halftime. Jazmyn Blake-Jackson added two defensive saves to help hold off the Gaels' attack through the opening frame.
Queen's broke through in the second half, scoring four times to seal the result. Tara Sisic and Josée Jones registered Ontario Tech's two shots on goal, while Nikita Mohan added two attempts.
