KINGSTON, Ont. – Kyle Leonard scored twice as the Ontario Tech Ridgebacks men's hockey team defeated the Queen's Gaels 3-1 Friday night in Kingston.

Leonard opened the scoring at 10:07 of the first period, with Jeremy Michaud picking up the assist. After Queen's tied it early in the second, Leonard struck again, restoring Ontario Tech's lead at 4:26 of the period. Baxter Anderson added an insurance marker in the third to secure the victory.

Beckett Langkow was solid in net, turning aside 35 shots as the Ridgebacks improved to 4-1-0 on the season.

Ontario Tech returns to action Saturday night, hosting the RMC Paladins at 7 p.m. at the Campus Ice Centre.
