Ridgebacks wrap up 2025/26 campaign on the road
KINGSTON, Ont. – The Ontario Tech men's basketball team closed out its regular season on Friday, February 13, falling 91–83 to the Queen's Gaels in Kingston.
After trailing 19–14 at the end of the opening frame, the Ridgebacks battled through a high-scoring second quarter but found themselves down 48–37 at halftime.
Ontario Tech and Queen's battled to a 22–22 stalemate in the third, sending them into the fourth 70–59. The Ridgebacks continued to chip away late in the contest, cutting the gap to five in the final two minutes, but Queen's converted at the free throw line down the stretch to secure the 91–83 result.
Mark Stoop led Ontario Tech with 17 points and 12 rebounds, while TJ Richards and Keon Baker each added 15 points. Emmanuel Okonkwo provided a spark off the bench with 16 points and 12 rebounds in 24 minutes of action.
This concludes the 2025/26 regular season for Ontario Tech men's basketball.
